Astberg Pony Alm

You can go horseriding when you take the Astbergbahn chairlift.
Up here, against the magnificent panorama of the Wilder Kaiser, is the Wilder Kaiser Pony Alm. With 20 ponies, a big kids playground, this is a true paradise for everyone, but especially children. Accompanied by parents, they can enjoy a pony ride and explore the area around the Astberg. As John Steinbeck so memorably put it: "A man on a horse is spiritually as well as physically bigger than a man on foot." That’s certainly true when you marvel at this panoramic view.

No pre-registration is required for pony riding.
The maximum weight for pony riding is 40 kg.

Prices Pony Alm: (Summer 2023)
Tariff pony riding at ascent with the Astbergbahn:
€ 7,00 per child (born 2007 - 2017)
Tariff pony riding without ascent with the Astbergbahn:
€ 25,00 per child (born 2007 - 2017)

When it rains the Pony Alm is closed.
