Church consecration Sunday - 250 years church of Going

Ceremonial anniversary service with Auxiliary Bishop Dr. Hansjörg Hofer
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, we are pleased to welcome Auxiliary Bishop Dr. Hansjörg Hofer as a representative of the Archdiocese of Salzburg. He will lead the festive service and celebrate this special occasion with us.
 
Fest program for October 19:
 
- Procession of traditional associations
- Ceremonial anniversary service with Auxiliary Bishop Dr. Hans Jörg Hofer and Pastor Dr. Robert Shako
- Awarding of the Rupert and Virgil Orders to 5 dedicated individuals from Going, who have made significant contributions to the parish and parish life in Going. This order is the highest honor for laypeople in the Catholic Church.
- Afterwards, a cozy gathering with food and drink.
