This excursion takes us through the northern Limestone Alps to the main valley of Tyrol. In Kufstein, the second largest city we will have our first stop. We will have a look at one of the largest fortresses in the Alpine region and have the opportunity to stroll through the old town. Our next visit is to a small village in the mountains, where the inhabitants have performed Passion Plays every 6 years for over 200 years. In addition, a wonderful small lake offers a charming scenic setting - we are in Thiersee. Back in the Inn valley we visit Rattenberg, a medieval town where we can admire an old work of art. Today it is the centre of Austrian glass art.
