The trail conditions vary from section to section, including asphalt, forest roads, forest trails, gravel paths, scree fields, root-covered paths, trails in the alpine pasture area, as well as sections with steep ascents and descents and short passages—such as those requiring the use of a ladder or a safety rope for support.
The difficulty level of the trail conditions is moderate (classification according to the Tyrolean Hiking and Mountain Trail Concept).
KaiserJet hiking bus 80 or postbus line 865 / 866 - the bus stop "Scheffau Dorf" is located directly at the event start/finish area.
