The "Gruberhof", situated at around 1200m on the sunny side of the Bromberg in Söll, is the parents' mountain farm and home of the "Bergdoktor" (alpine doctor), his mother, his brother Hans and his daughter Lilli in the famous TV series.
When the Bergdoktor film team has not taken it over, the farm is called "Köpfing" and belongs to and is run by the Mayr family. The farmhouse with its panoramic breakfast terrace overlooking the entire Kaiser mountains and the Hohe Salve opposite, has long been a trademark of the Bergdoktor series. To protect the privacy of the farm occupants, it is possible to register for a weekly guided tour to the house at the Wilder Kaiser tourist office in Söll.
Opening hours in summer for hikers and bikers: Monday to Friday 10 am to 3 pm
Entry fee summer 2019 with Wilder Kaiser guestcard € 7,00
Entry fee summer 2019 without Wilder Kaiser guestcard € 8,00
The best way to admire the "Gruberhof", the family house of the Bergdoktor, is in the television close-ups. You are kindly requested not to visit the house in person out of respect for the owners' privacy. Thank you for your co-operation!
