Description

The Hofkapelle zu Unterfaisten is located in the district of Hauning. It is home to a very precious rarity: When people used to visit the chapel almost daily to pray, the altar was adorned with a Madonna about 1 m high, which came from the Gothic church in Söll. It is not known how the Gothic Madonna came to the Faistenhof. Today, in addition to private/family use, the Faisten Chapel is opened for the traditional October rosary, where the precious Madonna is placed.
