Ski Tours in the Wilder Kaiser Region
On and off-piste ski touring adventures
Ski touring offers a unique way to experience the mountains of Tyrol. The untouched, snow-covered winter landscape of the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbühel Alps captivates with its tranquillity and breathtaking views. The feeling of freedom and lightness as you descend through powder or spring firn snow is something that can't be put into words – it simply has to be experienced.
Ski tours along marked pistes are also possible in the Wilder Kaiser region. A highlight is the popular evening ski tour on the Hartkaiser.
Piste ski tours
In the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental, ski touring is only permitted on the designated and signposted routes listed below. Please pay close attention to operating hours and current piste status. Ski touring on the pistes is strictly prohibited outside these guidelines – without exception.
Outside of operating hours, pistes are groomed using cable winch snow groomers. These cables can extend up to 1,000 metres in length and may swing out up to 40 metres when in use. This creates a life-threatening hazard for anyone on the piste.
Please do not underestimate the risks – both to your own safety and to that of the snow groomer operators – when the lifts are not in operation.
Use of the pistes is strictly at your own risk. The mountain lift operator accepts no liability.
Safety first – thank you for your understanding.
