Description

Mountain rescue teams are on duty around the clock to assist people in alpine emergencies. Their tasks include searching for and rescuing injured, stranded or missing persons in mountainous terrain – whether hiking, climbing or skiing. Operations often take place in difficult conditions and challenging environments. In addition to rescue missions, they provide first aid and ensure the safe evacuation and transport of injured persons to the valley.
The crew consists of 24 active members. In the team there are two trained first aider.

Our area of operation extends from Söll, Scheffau to Ellmau.
