The Bergdoktorhaus: A tractor ride to the Gruberhof
A tour of the Bergdoktorhaus on the Bromberg in Söll
Situated on the sunny side of the Söller Bromberg at around 1,000 metres above sea level, the Gruberhof is, in the film, the family mountain farm and home of the Bergdoktor, his mother, his brother Hans and his daughter Lilli. When the ‘Bergdoktor’ crew aren’t staying there, the farm is called Köpfing and belongs to the Mayr family, who also run it.
The farmhouse and its panoramic breakfast terrace, with its unique view of the entire Kaiser Mountains and the Hohe Salve, have long since become a hallmark of the TV series.
To protect the privacy of the farm’s residents, you can book a guided tractor tour to the “Grubers’” home. If the tractor tours are fully booked, you can also reach the farm on foot (no booking required) – please note the opening hours!
