Kaiserkrone Trail is postponed to 25-26 June 2021 As with many other events, it is now clear that the Kaiserkrone Trail cannot take place. Too many people would have gotten too close at this running event - and this simply cannot be reconciled with current hygiene and safety regulations.
Therefore, organizer Thomas Bosnjak and the venue Scheffau have decided to postpone the event to June 25-26 2021. All those who have secured a starting place for 2020 will keep it automatically - the entry will simply be transferred for the Kaiserkrone Trail next year.
On June 25 and 26, 2021, get ready for a competition of superlatives in Scheffau am Wilden Kaiser: The Kaiserkrone Trail event! Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned skyrunner, choose between the Marathon Trail, Speed Trail and Easy Trail competitions that lead up and around the spectacular Wilder Kaiser mountain range.
NEW from 2021: The Kaiserkrone Skyrace Run along impressive fixed-rope routes and ascend the mighty peaks of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range! This ISF qualified race is real challenge even for experienced skyrunners. The Kaiserkrone Skyrace is part of the 2020 Skyrunner Austria Series and boasts a prize purse of €4000! Further information is available at: www.skyrunner-austria-series.at.
But that’s not all: During the Kaiserkrone Kids Trail on 25 June 2021 young sportsmen & women will also have the opportunity to test their strength on trails ranging from 500 to 1,500 m in distance.
