The Gruberhof

A tour of the Mountain Doctor’s home on the Bromberg mountain

The Gruberhof farm is located on the sunny side of the Bromberg mountain in Söll, at an altitude of about 1,200 metres. In the series, it is the alpine farm of the Mountain Doctor’s parents and home to Martin Gruber himself, his mother and his daughter Lilli. When the Bergdoktor team and the film crews are away, the farm is called Hof Köpfing and is owned and run by the Mayr family.

The farm, its panoramic breakfast terrace and the spectacular view of the entire Kaiser mountain range and the Hohe Salve are an iconic part of the popular drama.
