Whilst the snow-capped mountains beckon with their perfect slopes, the scent of spring is beginning to fill the air at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. March combines the best of both seasons and offers a holiday that could hardly be more varied. Spend sunny hours in the ski resort and then discover the varied MARCHplus programme, featuring experiences for the whole family, sporting challenges, event highlights and imperial culinary delights.
Our answers to your questions
MÄRZplus is a special winter activity programme during the quieter period after the peak season.
With your Wilder Kaiser GästeCard, StaffCard, BürgerCard or FreizeitwohnsitzCard, you can take part in many guided activities for free or at a significantly reduced rate – from cycling and hiking to ski guiding and culinary workshops.
It’s simple: if you’re on holiday in the Wilder Kaiser during the MÄRZplus weeks and have a valid guest card, or if you hold a Wilder Kaiser StaffCard, BürgerCard or FreizeitwohnsitzCard.
You can book many of the programme activities online in advance or directly on site at the Tourist Information Centre.
For particularly popular activities, we recommend booking early.
The MÄRZplus programme is largely free of charge for guests with a guest card or holders of a Wilder Kaiser StaffCard, BürgerCard or FreizeitwohnsitzCard.
A selection of activities (e.g. special workshops or tours involving equipment hire) can be booked at a reduced rate – the relevant prices are clearly stated in the programme.
