Planning excursions by bus and train

The NaturTrip WebApp helps you to plan excursions by public transport. Simply select your destination and find suitable bus connections for the outward and return journey.

KaiserJet

The KaiserJet connects the village centres of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll with all mountain cable car valley stations, bathing lakes, the Kaiserbad (outdoor pool, indoor pool, wellness, climbing hall, tennis hall) and excursion destinations in the region. The free KaiserJet runs every half hour from mid-May to the beginning of October and every hour until the end of October. In summer, the KaiserJet village evening bus also takes you to the four villages every evening. So you can enjoy the summer concerts and village evenings without a car.

Scheduled buses

The Wilder Kaiser GuestCard is your ticket for local public transport. This means you can use the public buses to Kitzbühel, St. Johann, Wörgl and Kufstein free of charge. Simply show your Wilder Kaiser GuestCard when boarding and start your excursion.

Hiking buses

Village evening bus

In addition to the KaiserJet and the hiking buses, the KaiserJet village evening bus runs daily from the end of May to mid-September between 6.30 pm and 10.30 pm from Söll to Going and back again and stops at all important stops in the evening. This means you can easily get to events such as the famous village evenings in Scheffau, the Z'sammkemma in Söll, the Ellmau summer night or Going LIVE.

Our answers to your questions

You can of course take your four-legged friend on a lead on all regional buses and also on the free KaiserJet or ski bus. Please note that your dog must wear a muzzle when travelling.

All persons who have a permanent main or secondary residence in the region and can therefore (theoretically) use the VVT service 365 days a year are not included in the transport scheme. This applies to all citizens and therefore also landlords. Since June 2019, VVT monthly tickets have been available in every information office, which every holder of a BürgerCard, FreizeitwohnsitzCard or StaffCard can borrow free of charge up to 10 times a year and use them to travel throughout Tyrol on public transport! This offer is 100% financed by the tourism association.

Yes, the Wilder Kaiser Guest Card can also be sent in advance by email and printed out at home.

Unfortunately, in this case you cannot take advantage of the free bus journey and have to buy a regular ticket. Alternatively, you can use the Wilder Kaiser station shuttle, which will take you directly to your accommodation. On the day of departure, you can use the bus to the departure station free of charge with your guest card.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for the landlord to issue a physical guest card before check-in.

In this case, you can take the bus to Wörgl free of charge and only have to buy a train ticket from Wörgl to Innsbruck (at the ticket counter, at ticket.vvt.at or from the bus driver).
