Let’s get together in Söll
Every Wednesday in the summer
“Söll and its guests together” is the motto when Gabriel Eder, head of the Tourist Information Centre in Söll am Wilden Kaiser, welcomes locals and holidaymakers to the pedestrian zone for the ‘Z’sammkemma’ on Wednesday at 6.00 pm, from 13 May to 16 September, welcomes locals and holidaymakers to the pedestrian zone for the Z’sammkemma. Music groups, who play traditional tunes entirely without amplification, also invite visitors to the village get-together, and when the Schuhplattler from Söll perform their interludes, the village is immediately filled with the right Kaiser atmosphere. Whilst the regulars are honoured, visitors can sample culinary specialities at the stalls – dishes that are rarely found on menus these days, such as Krapfen.
