A Summer’s Night in Ellmau
A weekly evening of music, regional specialities and market stalls
Every Tuesday in summer from 6 pm, the entire village street in Ellmau, the entire Dorfstraße is transformed into a car-free shopping street with food stalls where bakers, butchers and pub landlords serve up their specialities such as doughnuts, dumplings and sausages. In between, various live bands play both traditional and modern music, providing lively entertainment in outdoor dining areas on every corner. Whilst locals and visitors stroll through the relaxed market atmosphere past second-hand stalls and stands selling regional produce, people gather on balmy summer nights over a beer or a glass of wine for a cosy get-together on the Wilder Kaiser.
