On Saturday, September 19, 2026, the Söll village center will once again transform into a meeting point for lived Tyrolean tradition. From 11:00 a.m., visitors can look forward to a festive Almabtrieb with festively decorated cows, music, and regional delicacies. We look forward to your visit!

Description

In the early morning on the day of the cattle drive at the end of September, the cows are festively “decorated” - as a symbol and thanks for a safe summer in the alpine pastures. The herders drive the animals past the alpine inn Hochsöll into the valley. The federal music band plays when the alpine cattle arrives in the village around 11:30 a.m. and returns to their home stables. The successful return of the alpine cattle and the herders is a feast for all senses every year anew in Söll and the Wilder Kaiser region.
