Alpine climbing course in the Wilder Kaiser (for beginners)
For all climbing beginners who want to experience the rock faces of the Wilder Kaiser up close and want to have their first experience in the Kaiserfels. This course is individually tailored to the group and you learn the most important basics for rope knots, roping up, belaying, alpine dangers, climbing technique and abseiling.
Afterwards you will be able to climb independently and safely on climbing gardens and mountain tours.
Goal in 3 days: Summit tour over the north ridge to the Hintere Goinger-Halt.
Day 1:We go to the climbing garden near the Gaudeamus Hut, where we learn the safety precautions and handling of rope safety, climbing technique and climbing.
Day 2: Repeating the belaying technique, belaying, dismantling the climbing technique in slabs, crack and intersection climbing and abseiling. Procedure and preparation for a multi-rope tour. In the climbing garden Wilderer Kanzel.
Day 3: Guided alpine climbing tour in the Wilder Kaiser over the exciting north ridge to the Hintere Goinger-Halt (difficulty 3+) with impressive views of the mighty east face of the Fleischbank.
Requirements: some courage, ambition, fitness for the ascents, hiking boots, rucksack and mountain clothing.
