Description

The Gasthof Au is located just outside the centre of Ellmau – away from all the hustle and bustle. Our newly renovated rooms have an aesthetic appeal and a balcony.

The Gasthof has a playroom and a quaint bar area as well as a sauna, a steam bath and a solarium. Half board accommodation upon request.

In summer, you can relax on the lawn in front of the house, watch your children play on the playground and enjoy the beautiful view of the Wilder Kaiser or drink a cold beer in the shadow of our old chestnut trees. The KaiserBad Ellmau is within short distance and if you prefer to do some sports, the region has many hiking and biking trails to offer.

In winter, you can spend your day in one of the largest ski areas in the world – the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental with about 280 kilometres of slopes. Furthermore, you can find many cross-country trails, toboggan tracks or ice rinks in the region.

Die Unterkunft hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Mit allem was dazu gehört. Wenn da nicht die Chefin gewesen wäre. Sie hat mir nicht das gefühl gegeben, als Gast Willkommen zu sein. Ich habe es noch nie erlebt, das ich so behandelt wurde. Wenn ich vor Buchung die Kritik gelesen hätte, wäre ich niemals in diesen Gasthof gefahren. Schließlich war das mein Urlaub, in dem ich mich eigentlich wohl fühlen sollte. Es verging kein Tag indem ich mich nicht mit der Chefin auseinander setzen musste. Es wurde jede Frage mit einer einsilbigen Anwort beantwortet. Man sollte der Dame in einem Gespräch erklären, wie man sich Gästen gegenüber verhält. Auf Grund des Verhaltens dieser Dame werde ich mit Sicherheit niemals mehr diesen Gasthof als Urlaub buchen. Anzumerken wäre noch, es ist ein sehr schönes Haus, schöne neue Zimmer, auch außen sehr schön angelegt, schade das die Besitzerin Ihren Gästen mit Ihrem Verhalten den Gesamt Eindruck in einem schlechten Blick erscheinen läßt.
