Summit tour to the Vordere Goinger Halt (demanding)
as part of the Ellmau mountain sports week
The mountain guides of the region take you to a challenging summit tour on the Wilder Kaiser - from the Wochenbrunneralm (1.085m) to the Vordere Goinger Halt (2.242m). After the ascent to the "Ellmauer Tor", we cross to the north side. Up here we take a short rest and admire the view of the steep, famous rock faces, where climbing history was written. Afterwards, secured in a rope team, we go in easy climbing passages with a lot of arm use, in difficulty 1-2 to the summit of the Vordere Goinger Halt. At the top you will be rewarded with a view over the Alpine ridge. After a rest, we head back down to the starting point.
Included in the price: Rental equipment (harness, rope and helmet)
You need: Surefootedness, no fear of heights, fitness for approx. 4 hrs. ascent (approx. 1200 m), good mountain boots, hiking clothes & possibly a change of clothes, jacket, rain gear, sun protection (headgear, glasses, cream), possibly telescopic poles, backpack, at least 1.5 l drink & snack
