Watercolor symposium: 3rd Alpine Watercolor Challenge

One week Plein Air at the “Wilden Kaiser” (“wild emperor”) mountain range)
Location: Ellmau, the quaint village of our watercolor symposium, lies at the doorstep of the impressive mountain range „Wilder Kaiser“. The scenic natural stage offers a unique mountain region, crystal clear lakes and mountain streams of drinking quality. Several hundred years old farms, lush meadows and shady forests invite us to paint together outdoors.
Painting locations:
We use our own chartered bus or go by cable car to carefully selected locations (alpine huts or inns are always nearby). After a short walk (up to15min) wild romantic mountain scenery spread out in front of us in the so called Kaiserbachtal, the Hartkaiser or at the Wochenbrunner Alm, to name just a few. One painting day we will spend at the historic old town of Kufstein with her massive fortress.
