Challenging mountain hike to the Hintere Goinger Halt (2192 m)
Mountain sports week 2020
The mountain guides of the region will take you to a challenging summit tour at the Wilder Kaiser. -to the Hintere Goinger Halt (2192 m).
Starting point of the tour is the Wochenbrunner Alm. From the alpine pasture, which is already situated at 1085 m above sea level, you take the forest path to the Gaudeamushütte. From here you walk through mountain pines and bushes over the Kübelkar along the "Wilder-Kaiser-Steig" to the Ellmauer Tor. Here you can enjoy the wonderful view of the valley and the Hohe Tauern. At the final spurt to the summit of Hinteren Goinger Halt, a head for heights is a must. At the top you will be rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view over the surrounding mountains. After a break, the trail continues downhill via the fairytale meadow and the Tannbichl Graben.
The summit tour is secured with rope by the mountain guides. If you don't have a safety belt, you can borrow one from your mountain guide.
You need: Sure-footedness, no fear of heights, fitness for approx. 4 hours ascent, good mountain boots, hiking & possibly changing clothes, jacket, rain protection, sun protection (headgear, glasses, cream), possibly telescopic poles, rucksack, at least 1.5l drink & snack.
Duration: 08:00 to 16:30
Meeting point: Info office Going, Dorfstraße 10 - Transfer to the Wochenbrunneralm & back.
This offer is only bookable with a ticket for the mountain sports week and counts as 1 mountain sports day.

The program is especially for guests with a Wilder Kaiser Guest Card, which you will receive upon arrival in your booked accommodation in the villages of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll. Program changes reserved!

We do recommend all participants an Insurance for accidents (including emergency and rescue costs). All outdoor activities are carried out at your own risk. The participants agree with the booking that fotos and videos taken during this week can be used by the Tourism office Wilder Kaiser for advertising.
