All of the ski schools in the Wilder Kaiser region offer children's ski courses so that the tiniest of tots can have fun skiing and at the same time have professional instruction in making their first turns in the snow. At the same time as benefiting from great child care both in the valley and on the mountain, the little ones take their first steps on skis under professional and creative supervision enabling the parents to discover the SkiWelt.
The KinderKaiserland Scheffau on the Brandstandl has particularly innovative ski instruction for the tiny beginners. The especially large and eventful snow play ground is an inviting place for the first ski excercises on mini carvers developed by the head of the ski school which can also be used without ski boots. Tiny tots from the age of two are introduced to the new winter sport in one hour playful mini courses in the secured snow park which is over 7000 m².
The little ones can hold on to fun figures like snow bunnies on the "Schneekaiser" teaching carousel and are thus safely led around the track. In this way they gain confidence on the snow and with the "pizza" quickly learn the snowplough. The "hearing aid" with instructions via microphone also makes for a successful start on the piste.
Public nursery slopes
The public nursery slopes are perfect for your first attempts in the snow: playful learning is the message at the Hexenwiese field in the SkiWelt Söll. The SkiWelt Scheffau offers free skiing fun, with a free cable tow lift and a children’s carousel available for the little ones, while Ellmi’s Winter World is located at the top station of SkiWelt Ellmau with free use of two magic carpets.
