Vie ferrate & secured paths at the Wilder Kaiser
Adventure with a combination of rock and steel in the Kaiser mountains
Since last summer, the newly opened climbing path "Klamml“ (in the difficulty range C/D) has brought many fixed-rope route climbers into the wall to the Gruttenhütte. The Wilder Kaiser offers not only the short and crunchy climbing path Klamml but also other fixed-rope routes and many secured paths. Beginners will find the ideal prerequisites in the week program of the tourism association and the mountain guides of the region to take their first steps in the combination of rock and steel safely. The Eisenkrone is the top achievement for practiced fixed-rope route climbers with strong stamina – this three-day tour takes you across the Wilder Kaiser twice.
Do I have to bring along the entire climbing path equipment to go on the fixed-rope routes at the Wilder Kaiser? - No, you can borrow equipment from us. Safety is important as well – our examined and experienced mountain guides will gladly offer advice and tricks. Order our folder "Climbing and fixed-rope routes" online.
