The Tauernblick Panorama-Rundweg leads you to special places by means of a mountain trail in the Wilden Kaiser. The Schleier waterfall which you will pass by during this hike with medium level of difficulty is a unique nature spectacle. A lively mountain stream falls as a mist down a 60-meter-high cliff. Up there is the Mecca for extreme climbers and thus some action is always offered. The Schleier waterfall is open for climbing all year round.In addition to this, the Tauernblick Panorama-Wanderung has been awarded the Tirolean hiking trial seal of approval.
A hike in the Wilden Kaiser that leads to special places. The spectacular view of Schleier waterfall presents unique impressions. The Gaudeamushütte invites you to partake Kaiserschmarrn (sugared pancake with raisins) and enjoy a spectacular view.This impressive hike on the sunny side at the foot of the Kaiser mountain range begins at the parking lot of the bathing lake. Follow the Aschingerweg up to Aschingerkapelle. Walk along the forest road until you reach the junction “Fußweg-Wasserfall-Graspoint". The climb above the alpine pastures and woods begins here and approximately 20 minutes later you are back on the forest road. A narrow path, which requires surefootedness, leads to the climbing paradise Schleier waterfalls. Under the overhanging rocks and the Schleier waterfallsis the flag 822 along thw way to Stiegenbach waterfalls. Past Josefshütte, a narrow footpath leads gently uphill to Gaudeamushütte (1,263m). Traditionshütte is famous for its Kaiserschmarrn and the panoramic view.While descending follow the flag 813 in the direction of Märchenwiese, then hike towards Tannbichlbach which leads to Tannbichlkapelle, a beautiful mountaineer chapel. From there, follow the road to Stanglwirt to the Schipflinger Pension, where you turn left to reach the village.
