The Wilder Kaiser is one of the most popular and history-charged climbing mountains in Austria, and has been for generations. Well-known names like Totenkirchl, Fleischbank-Ostwand or Predigtstuhl invoke alpinist's respect and inspire them to sporting achievement. To complement the alpine classics in the Wilder Kaiser many sport climbing routes have been developed in the climbing crags of Achleiten, Multerkarwand and Schleierwasserfall, several of these have been developed by the Bavarian extreme climbing brothers "Huber Buam". For beginners, going with one the mountain guides of the Wilder Kaiser is the safe way to enjoy the first steps on a via ferrata or an easy alpine tour in the Kaiser mountains.
