Kaiser climbing crag in the Wilder Kaiser

16 climbing routes in Ellmau

There are a total of 16 climbing routes graded 3 - 7 including the Murmeltierfelsen (Marmot rocks) and the Gamsfelsen (chamois rocks) near to the Gaudeamushütte. The starting point is the Wochenbrunneralm in Ellmau. Follow the hiking path to the Gaudeamushütte, then further on towards the Klammlweg leading to the Gruttenhütte you will find both of the climbing rocks. You need a total of 40 minutes to reach the Kaiser climbing crag near the Gaudeamushütte. Sure-footedness and a head for heights are imperative!
