Via ferrata in the Wilder Kaiser

Rugged sport and practice fixed cable routes

The scenic fixed cable routes are a real attraction of the Wilder Kaiser. For a fit person several of these can be combined with one another. The highest peak in the Kaiser massif is the Ellmauer Halt (2.344m),this is climbed by way of the Kaiserschützensteig, or on the Gamsängersteig from the other side. Examples of other well known fixed cable routes are the Widauersteig or the Jubiläumssteig - you can find more information about the fixed cable routes here.
