Holidays in the Wilder Kaiser region are back on the menu! Hotels, restaurants and leisure facilities have reopened. We have implemented a wide range of measures to ensure that you will feel safe with us and enjoy your stay. With strict hygiene and safety concepts in place throughout our region’s tourism venues, there’s only one thing you have to focus on: having a good time. This page tells you all you need to know about safely planning your holidays in times of the coronavirus.
When Austria opened its borders to tourists on 19 May, new entry regulations came into force. People entering Austria from abroad no longer need to quarantine. Instead, they must present evidence of having been vaccinated, a negative Covid-19 test or evidence of having recovered from a proven infection with the coronavirus. The specific requirements vary depending on your country of origin.
o Green/yellow/orange: free entry
o Red: No quarantine for people who have been vaccinated, tested or have recovered from Covid-19
o Dark red: Entry only for people who have been vaccinated, tested or have recovered from Covid-19 plus quarantine (test to release after 5 days)
NOTE: Even though quarantine requirements are no longer in place, you still need to register before entering Austria! Click here to register online.
