Over the past months, Tirol has massively expanded and professionalised its test facilities. Every resident of Tirol is no more than a five-minute drive away from their nearest testing centre. This includes the state-operated test facilities (register at www.tiroltestet.at), pharmacies (register at www.oesterreichtestet.at) and GP practices (see the following list for the Wilder Kaiser region.)
Guests of the Wilder Kaiser region can take easy self-tests in their hotel or the local test facilities. Their host will provide test kits and all necessary information. Tests are valid for 24 hours.
In addition, there will be two drive-through screening sites in the Wilder Kaiser region, one in Söll and one in Ellmau, where guests can easily take a test. These sites use antigen tests, whose results are valid for 48 hours.
