Over 30 huts in the Wilder Kaiser region, the Brixental and the Hohe Salve offer a lot of homemade food - farmhouse bread with fresh butter, herb spread, jams, cheese and bacon. Simply enjoy and recharge all your senses.
On 30 May 2020, the landlords in Ellmau will be hosting a festival of "Kaiserschmarrn specialities".Whether you enjoy the "Kaiserschmarrn" in the classic way, as a side dish, cold or as Vegie Schmarrn - they will all be delicious! Admission free!
In order for guests to become friends and get to know the Tyrolean culture, weekly village evenings take place in Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll in summer. Music and dance, culinary tastings and regional products, each with its own individual flair await you in the Wilder Kaiser region from Tuesday to Friday.
Ellmau’s summer night, Z'sammkemma in Söll, Scheffau’s village evening, Going's handicraft market: enjoy culinary samples as well as live music, stroll around the local centre and relish the flair of the Kaiser.
For two weeks every year Ellmau is the Mecca of folk and traditional music. From 23 to 26 September and from 30 September to 1 October 2020, folk music stars such as Marc Pircher and Hansi Hinterseer will perform at the Wilder Kaiser. 23.09.2020 - 03.10.2020

Families in Ellmau can also spend a great time away from the slopes - for example in the KaiserBad. The adventure pool has an indoor pool, a large water slide, a play pond, a Kneipp pool and much more. Boredom will certainly not be a problem, but fun will be all the more fun!
The "Astbergsee" is located on the mountain "Astberg" in Going. You have a beautiful view to the Wilder Kaiser, which is also beautifully reflected in the lake.
A holiday at the Wilder Kaiser means, of course, first and foremost a lot of exercise towards and on the mountain, or relaxing and enjoying the view of the mountain. In between, however, you may also want to discover something new beyond the edge of the valley Wilder Kaiser.
The free "KaiserJet" bus has a regular service in the summer months between the four Kaiser villages of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll. We have listed bus timetables and bus stops for the free hiking and bathing bus KaiserJet, for ski buses, as well as the bus schedules of the post buses for you.
A horse-drawn carriage ride through the breathtaking countryside lets you appreciate the Wilder Kaiser region to a contemplative rhythm and discover the villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau and Söll at a leisurely pace.
Easy hiking trails and circular routes along the Wilder Kaiser invite you to embark on a voyage of discovery. Especially in the valley and in the area of BergErlebnisWelten there are many easy hiking trails.
The Wilder Kaiser-Brixental mountain railways are in operation from 11 May to 10 November 2019. The most modern lifts enable easy ascents into the Kitzbüheler Alps.
In the morning wonderful pistes with best snow conditions and in the evening party atmosphere in rustic après-ski restaurants.
During the Alpine festival week in Söll (13 to 20 September 2020) old farm crafts come to life at the harvest festival in Hexenwasser, while Tyrolean cuisine and music indulge the taste buds and your disposition. The highlight of the week is the traditional Alpine cattle drive.19.09.2020
