KAISERWEEKS - toboggan fun

Ellmauer Kaiserwochen - Tobogganing fun
every Wednesday between 6th - 27th January 2024
between 7pm & 9pm

As part of the Ellmauer Kaiserwochen, the tobogganing fun takes place at the Astbergbahn Going. The Astbergbahn chairlift takes you comfortably to the start of the toboggan run. You can rent a toboggan in all sports shops in the valley or directly behind the Astbergbahn valley station. The tobogganing fun then starts right next to the chairlift on the mountain. The route leads back to the Astbergbahn valley station (with good snow conditions you can also get to Ellmau). The toboggan run is 4.5km long, a moderately difficult run that is suitable for families. The descent takes approx. 20-25 minutes.

You get the KaiserwochenBonusPass with your Wilder Kaiser GuestCard at one of the information offices for free. The Wilder Kaiser GuestCard you receive free of charge upon arrival at your accommodation in the Wilder Kaiser region (in the villages of Ellmau, Going, Scheffau or Söll).

The free ticket for 1 ascent between 7pm and 9pm is only available with your KaiserWochenBonusPass at the lift ticket office at the Astbergbahn. After the tobogganing fun, a hot mulled wine or tea awaits you at the end of the toboggan run in the Koasa Hüttn (between 7 and 9 pm as long as available).

Toboggan rental is possible in the sports stores in the region (not included).
