"Söll erfrischt" is the motto that encompasses the many aspects of the local holiday offers: welcoming accommodation hosts, local produce, the personal attention of guides in nature based activities - all set in unspoilt countryside. Söll is proud of its farming roots with an annual milk output of 4.5 million litres, 60 schnapps distilleries and ten tonnes of honey in a good harvest season. The Söller Sinnesrunde (senses circuit) covers 23 scenic kilometres around the village on four paths of different experiences with mountains in every direction.
The Sunnseitweg leads you into the heart of nature's vitality where you can feel, smell, taste and touch nature's essence. Along the Energieweg you encounter the sun in a modern solar energy works and pass by several more information points about the sun's energy. You soon leave everyday life behind on the Schattseitweg, the pace of life slows allowing you to unwind and relax. The Aktivweg heads into the hills and soon Söll is lying below you! Providing tasty sustenance is also part of the Sinnesrunde, which traditional guest houses do all along the paths with local specialities.
In Summer 2012 Söll was voted "Austria's most beautiful village in bloom" and is now well on the way to becoming "Europes most beautiful village in bloom - Entente Florale 2013". The Wilder Kaiser village would like to "bloom" permanently! In a commitment to quality of life and being aware of products' origins, bees play an important role and you can find out all about honey culture and production in the Tiroler Bienenwelt in Bocking, the Bienenhaus in Hexenwasser, Hochsöll and on the bee educational trail on the Sunnseitweg. It is easy to find a souvenir from Söll under the label "Söll erfrischt" - with products like locally produced schnapps, honey, herbal teas, muesli bars, the famous Theresienöl medical oil and "Söll erfrischt" wine, a Welschriesling from Söll's partner vineyard in Styria.
