    If 288 kilometres of slopes, 90 lifts and 80 mountain huts aren’t enough, the Wilder Kaiser region has plenty more in store for you. Between 16 and 30 January, the "Ellmau Kaiser Weeks" beckon with a varied programme of activities, including a course on surviving avalanches, a lantern hike, ski guiding, and a hike to the filming sites of the popular TV show ‘Der Bergdoktor’ – all free of charge!

    Wednesday 7:00 pm A fun tobogganing session on the Astberg with mulled wine. Includes 1 ride to the mountain on the Astbergbahn chairlift between 7:00 and 9:00 pm and 1 mulled wine at the Koasa Hut (toboggan hire not included) Astbergbahn chairlift, Going not necessary FREE (toboggan hire not included)
    Thursday 9:00 am “Der Bergdoktor” Winter Hike Ellmau Tourist Information Office by 5:00 pm on Wednesday FREE
    7am -12pm A night-time ride in the Hartkaiserbahn cable car, followed by a lantern hike. Includes one return ride in the cable car between 6:00 and 10:00 pm (the Bergkaiser restaurant is open) and a lantern hike on the Hartkaiser mountain at 7:00 pm Hartkaiserbahn mountain station by 5:00 pm on Wednesday (only for the hike) FREE
    Friday 9:00 am Ski guiding at the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental Hartkaiserbahn valley station by 5:00 pm on Thursday FREE (ski pass not included)

    You must present your Kaiser Weeks BonusPass to join any activity. Guests with a valid Wilder Kaiser GuestCard can pick up the Kaiser Weeks BonusPass from any information office Tourismusverband Wilder Kaiser or from their accommodation provider.
    You can sign up for activities either online or at the Ellmau information office!
