Protection and prevention

  • FFP-2 masks are compulsory in supermarkets, pharmacies, drug stores, bank offices and means of public transport. The FFP2 mask is compulsory for children aged 14 and over. Children between the ages of 7 and 14 do not have to wear an FFP2 mask but must wear a mouth-nose protection. Children up to 6 years of age are completely exempt from the mask requirement.
  • The hygiene and safety concepts of the cable cars, restaurants and events have been officially approved.
  • Gondolas, rental equipment, key cards, buses and similar are sanitised on a daily basis.

Safety first

  • Internationally compatible Stop Coronavirus app issued by the Austrian Red Cross.
  • Dedicated regional Covid-19 official.
  • Nine licensed doctors, two pharmacies and two hospitals in the immediate vicinity, open seven days a week, including night and weekend service.
  • Proximity to border: just 30 minutes by car to the German border.
  • When entering Austria, the "3G rule" applies (vaccinated, recovered or tested). Children up to the age of 12 are exempt.
  • On the return journey to Germany the 3G rule applies to all persons aged 6 and over.

Measures at the ski resorts

  • Use of large, spacious gondolas.
  • Online purchase of cable car tickets.
  • Cable car tickets available via contactless transaction from ticket machines at the valley stations.
