The "Kaiserhof“-Austria's hotel of the year 2009 – led by the Lampert family - is a very personally led hotel. The idyllic location above Ellmau (960m) with a unique view to the Wilder Kaiser guarantees an undiluted holiday pleasure – pure recreation – far away from noise and traffic. Directly located at the ski slope.

The 36 rooms and suites are diversely equipped and furnished with a lot of love for detail.
Pure sense of well being is ensured. The accomplished harmony of traditional design elements and modern elegance is reflected in the spacious guest rooms and in the stylish luxurious suites.
From our 300m2 big terrace you can enjoy an amazing view to the most beautiful mountains of the Tyrol, the "Wilder Kaiser“.
Our house offers 5 atmospheric restaurants (all non-smoking-restaurants) and
invites you to enjoy. The elegant castle-parlour, the comfortable panorama-restaurant, the cosy fireplace-parlour, the rustic beautiful swiss pine-parlour and the new "trendy“ à-la-carte restaurant "Kulinarium“. The elegant Kaiser bar invites to a comfortable drink after dinner.

Culinarily you get spoiled on the highest level – cuisine and service have already been awarded by well-known restaurant leaders. For
Gault Millaut our cusine and service performance are again worth 2 toques (2012) and 15 points this year, à la carte-guide 2012 – 2 stars, the big restaurant and hotel guide – 4 caps. In the year 2003 we were elected Austrian restaurant of the year. (Atlas-Verlag)
Boss of the house – head cook Günter Lampert (Austrias cook of the year 2011) with his young team is responsible for the constant cuisine performance.

- take the exit KUFSTEIN SÜD (toll free)
- follow the road to St. Johann (approx. 18 kilometres)
- take the first exit to Ellmau
- after 300m turn right (vis-à-vis Intersport shop)
- after 200m turn right again
- follow the street… until you reach a little bridge (on the right hand side is a public phone booth)
- drive across the bridge and up the mountain
- … until you reach a forest (follow the signs)
- after a sharp left curve you will drive through the forest arriving directly at the hotel.
