Monday closed in May and June at bad weather condition. After about a 45-minute walk from the village centre of Scheffau, you reach this alpine hut at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. Here you can switch off, leave the hustle and bustle down in the valley and simply be yourself. The hut has his own farmbreeding Angus cattle, and as a highlight you can enjoy the meat specialities. Breakfast on the mountain can be enjoyed from Wednesday to Sunday (upon prior reservation). Home-produced Angus beef products (sausages and speck), homemade cakes, butter and crusty farm bread.
