Beautifully prepared cross country tracks (around 170 km in the Wilder Kaiser-Brixental region alone) and romantic winter walks lead you through some of the most spectacular, winter scenery in Tyrol... There are connecting tracks to the neighbouring regions of (Kirchberg, Kitzbühel and. St. Johann) and there is also a 4.5 km track at an altitude of 1.300m (in the middle of the ski area).
Particularly popular with our guests are the many toboggan runs in the region. The region, with its 55 km of runs, is already known as ‘the’ place to meet among toboggan fans.
7 runs (19.5 km in total), are floodlit. The Astberg-Ellmau-Going run (4.5km) and the Hochsöll to Söll (3.5km) are just two of the insider tips. Here, the lifts are also in operation in the evening and the runs are lit until 3 am. Further suggestions are the romantic toboggan runs of Brixen im Thale from the cosy Brixenbachalm (4.5 km), the run in Kelchsau and the run at Steinacker in Scheffau. |
